AMT continues to urge Congress and the Administration to implement policies consistent with AMT’s “Manufacturing Mandate,” a national manufacturing strategy to help rebuild and strengthen this country’s manufacturing sector. The plan calls for a coordinated manufacturing policy structure that:
- Incentivizes R&D and innovation in new products and manufacturing technologies;
- Increases global competitiveness;
- Builds a better educated and trained “Smartforce”
