Certified Manufacturing Technology Sales Engineers (CMTSEs) are a select group of individuals practicing within the machine tool industry. They have demonstrated through personal experience, education and testing their knowledge of manufacturing technology sales. The CMTSE Recertification Process is designed to encourage ongoing educational and professional growth.
A Certified Manufacturing Technology Sales Engineer must recertify every three years by obtaining Professional Development Points (PDPs) in four developmental areas: Experience, Education and Training, Professional Service and Professional Contributions. A total of 27 Professional Development Points are necessary.
CMTSEs who earned their accreditation or renewed it in 2013, are due to recertify in 2016.
Deadline: November 1, 2016

A "Recertification Score Card" is provided for CMTSEs to record Professional Development Points. The Score Card allows CMTSEs to record activities as they are completed. At the conclusion of the three-year recertification period, the Score Card is submitted to AMT for review.
