Development sessions are designed to help AMT members who are new to an international region and want to develop a sales and marketing strategy.

AMT's international staff will meet together with your top U.S. and country-specific local managers and/or distributor representatives to have a confidential discussion of all the issues related to developing a sound strategy for market penetration abroad.

Discussions include:

  • International Market specifics (machine tool industry, market size, foreign and domestic competition)
  • Product selection market entry modes (agent, rep office, distribution, subsidiary company)
  • Promotion (advertising and show participation)

  • Cultural awareness brainstorming opportunities, priorities and next steps

Review Session

Review sessions are designed to help AMT members validate and invigorate existing sales and marketing strategies for today's world.

Similar to the Development Session, AMT's international staff will meet together with your top U.S. and country-specific local managers and/or local representatives to have an off-the-record discussion on making your business more successful abroad.

Discussions include:

  • Product selection
  • HR Issues Market entry modes (agent, rep office, distribution, subsidiary company)
  • Promotion (advertising and show participation)
  • Market research and segmentation
  • Cultural awareness setting priorities?
