WHAT will be covered? At the Distribution Summit (D15), you will learn new sales & marketing tactics, participate in member panel discussions on today’s distribution challenges, focus on builder/distributor relations, and much more!
WHEN is the event? Registration will start on the afternoon of September 23, followed by a networking reception from 6 – 9 pm. The D15 Summit begins with breakfast on September 24; the speaker program will last until 4 pm, with breaks and lunch in between.
WHERE is D15? Join us in Columbus, Ohio, at the Hyatt Regency. Special hotel accommodations will be made for the Summit. We chose a central location, so that attendees could drive to and from the event – not taking too much time away from your busy schedules.
WHY? - You asked and we listened. Several of our distributor members have asked AMT to organize an event that would bring together distributors, builders and suppliers to really focus on working together to improve our industry through networking, panel discussions and presentations that will help to strengthen their businesses. “Staying relevant in this accelerated digital age with both our customers and builders is the biggest challenge facing machine tool distributors today,” said Peter Addy, CMTSE, AMT Distribution Group Chairman and President of Addy Machinery Company Inc. “The 2015 Distribution Summit will mark our first solo event since the American Machine Tool Distributors’ Association merged with AMT in 2012. We are planning significant content and speakers that will help you raise your distributorship’s bar and help you stand out from the crowded field.”
HOW can you get involved? We received a great response to our call for speakers, and we want hear from you! What topics would you like to see covered? What can we do to ensure your attendance? Keep checking your email, AMT News, and mailbox for more conference material as we get closer to this event!
