The U.S. Commercial Service is hosting a webinar for U.S. machine manufacturers to discuss revised mandatory safety certification requirements for machines exported to the European Union. This session will provide a comprehensive overview of the new machine safety directive, a revised version of which went into effect on December 27, 2009.
Presenters include Mr. Ian Fraser, Commission Official, European Commission, Directorate General Enterprise/Industry, Machine Safety Team Leader; and Ms. Sylvia Mohr, Standards Specialist, U.S. Mission to the European Union.
