This quick-reference tool is designed for HR managers from AMT member companies as a guide to correlate educational pathways with industry-supported credentials or degrees required to career pathways and career opportunity outlook for specific job functions. This tool also includes average annual compensation levels for many of the job functions in manufacturing that are in the highest demand today.
The information here is an accumulation of data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Opportunity Outlook Handbook, Military Occupation Specialties (MOS), industry compensation surveys, with additional research and support from AMT's Industry Intelligence department.
To review this information, please drill down into each job function listed below.
We suggest that HR managers add MOS data (where applicable) to job listings on the "Careers" section of your web site in order to more specifically attract military veterans to those positions.
