IMS is a NSF Multi-campus Industry/University Cooperative Research Center which consists of the University of Cincinnati (lead institution), the University of Michigan, and Missouri Univ. of S&T in partnerships with over 40 companies including P&G, GE Aviation, GM, Ford, DaimlerChrysler, Toyota, Boeing, Omron, Caterpillar, Honeywell, BorgWarner, Bosch, , Toshiba, Parker Hannifin, Festo, Kistler, TechSolve, National Instruments, Advantech, ITRI, PMC, Siemens, Spirit Aerosystems, Alstom, HRL, Delta Electronics (Taiwan), HIWIN (Taiwan), Ingersoll Rand, and others. The Center is focused on developing advanced prognostics, predictive Maintenance technologies and tools to enable products and systems to achieve zero-breakdown performance.
