Mitchell is an OEM that produces a wide range of ferrous & non-ferrous tube & bar push pointers (similar to "swaging" machines) with pushing capacities of 5,000 Lbs. (22kN) to 1,000,000 Lbs. (4,440kN). Tube sizes accommodated range from 0.250" to 16"(6.4 to 406mm) OD with walls of 0.010" to 1.500" (0.25 to 38 mm.) and solid bars up to 5.500" (140mm) dia. Push Pointers are primarily used in the drawing industry where tubing is drawn to a specific diameter and wall thickness and rods are drawn to a specific diameter or shape. Mitchell also manufactures special cold forming equipment to produce tubular & solid near net shape components for the automotive, sporting good and related industries.
