March 2, 2007 - In a speech to the Economic Club of Washington, U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson discussed economic numbers released this week suggesting a slowdown in economic growth.
Despite these statistics, Secretary Paulson stated that he believes the economy is healthy, and that the key to continued economic growth is openness to global trade and competition.
