BIS Briefings On Revisions to Export Controls to China
 
 
August 17, 2006 - The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has organized a series of public briefing sessions around the country to explain in greater detail the recent Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) concerning exports to China. Below is the list of dates and locations for the sessions:

* August 17, 2006, 10:30 a.m., Chicago, Illinois: Four Points Sheraton/Chicago O'Hare, 10249 W. Irving Park Road, Schiller Park, Illinois 60176.

* August 21, 2006, 9:00 a.m., Houston, Texas:  University of Houston, Small Business Development Center, Suite 200, 2302 Fannin Street, Houston, Texas 77002.

* August 22, 2006, 8:30 a.m. La Jolla, California:  The University of California, San Diego Campus, Institute of the Americas, Copley International Conference Center, Hojel Hall of the Americas Auditorium, 10111 North Torrey Pines Road, La Jolla, California 92037

The National Council of International Trade Development has issued a summary of the proposed rules.
