March 28, 2007 - Defense contractor ITT Corporation agreed to pay $100 million and plead guilty to two criminal charges for allowing the transfer to China of night-vision technology. According to the Justice Department, ITT Corp. will be the first major defense contractor convicted of a criminal violation the Arms Export Control Act.
