House Chairmen Introduce Trade Enforcement Bill
July 17, 2008 - House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Rangel (D-NY) and Trade Subcommittee Chairman Levin (D-MI) have introduced
"The Trade Enforcement Act of 2008" (H.R. 6530).
The bill seeks to: combat counterfeiting and piracy, and improve import safety; eliminate barriers to American exports; and restore and enhance U.S. trade remedies.
