RHI doubles Indian plant capacity APA-Economic News Service (APA-ENS), 1 October 2008 Wednesday 3:23:49 PM (Central European Time) Austrian refractory material maker RHI AG (VSE:RHI) has doubled its production capacity at its Indian plant in Venkatapuram, by opening a second production line, the company said on October 1, 2008. In order to meet the increasing demand for high-grade refractory solutions worldwide, RHI has invested a single-digit million euro sum for raising the capacity to 50,000 tonnes per year.
Colombia Set To Make Hino Trucks Americas Automotive Insights, October 1, 2008 Japanese commercial vehicle manufacturer Hino has indicated that the company will begin assembling trucks in Colombia as a part of a $20USmn project with Japanese company Mitsui and Colombia's Praco-Didacol Group. The plant, which will be located in Cota, near El Dorado Bogota, will be Hino's first assembly plant in Latin America.
