July 2, 2007 -- Alcoa Inc. (AA) named Jinya Chen president, Asia-Pacific region, succeeding Lloyd Jones. The New York aluminum company said Jones will retire at the end of the year. Chen was previously director, Asia Pacific, for electronics and safety at Delphi Corp. (DPH). Alcoa shares recently traded up 90 cents, or 2.2%, or $41.43.
