August 14, 2007 -- Delphi Corporation, a world leader in mobile electronics and transportation components and systems technology, is opening a new plant in Morroco, according to El Mundo. The new factory is replacing the facility in Cadix, southern Spain, which the firm closed at the cost of 1,600 jobs. The online edition of the daily stated that the company has signed a letter of intent with the Moroccan government and that the new plant will be opened within three years.
