August 30, 2007 -- The U.S. Army has awarded a $6.28 million contract to SPX Corp., Newington, Conn., for helicopter rotor blades, drive mechanisms and components. The contract was awarded by the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala.
