December 3, 2007 -- South Korea's No. 3 builder Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. (KSE:000720) said Monday it has received a US$920 million order from Qatar Fertilizer Co. to build three fertilizer plants in southeastern Qatar.

The plants will be built in Mesaieed, an industrial city approximately 30 kilometers south of Doha, the capital of Qatar, the company said in a regulatory filing.

It will take 40 months to complete the plants, it added.
