February 11, 2008 -- Germany's Bosch will invest approximately 11 million euros in its Bosch Power Tools plant in Russia's Saratov Region by 2010, Lars Kabatnik, CEO of Bosch Power Tools, said Monday.
Bosch Power Tools was established in April 2007 at Bosch's already existing plant in the town of Engels in the Saratov Region.
Bosch has invested 4.5 million euros in Bosch Power Tools as of now, Kabatnik said at a meeting with the Saratov Region's Investment Policy Minister Kirill Semyonov.
Bosch Power Tools' output is expected to increase to 1.3 million units per year by 2010 from the over 500,000 units projected in 2008, Kabatnik said.
