February 29, 2008 -- Shell Pakistan has signed a 3-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Isuzu. Under this agreement Isuzu manufacturer Gandhara Industries Limited (GIL) will exclusively recommend Shell Lubricants for all Isuzu vehicles.

As per agreement, Shell & GIL (Isuzu) will launch a joint campaign for promoting use of Rimula in Isuzu vehicles. GIL (Isuzu) dealers' network in Pakistan will exclusively be using Shell Rimula as the recommended oil for its diesel engines.

GIL Dy. Chief Executive Muhammad Kuli Khan Khattak said that his company has entered in this MOU for Isuzu because they trust Shell lubricant for these vehicles.

Speaking at the event Yousuf Ali, GM Lubricant Shell Pakistan said that the signing of the MoU was a symbol of professional commitment between the two companies. This agreement strengthened business relations between the two companies, and would further grow in future, he said. He added that Shell lubricants are the first choice of every vehicle-manufacturing company and this agreement showed the strength of the Shell brand.

Mr. Yousuf said that Shell Pakistan has added Isuzu to its list of long-term business partners such as Nissan, Suzuki, Hyundai, Al Ghazi & Millat. According to this agreement, Shell & GIL (Isuzu) will arrange customer seminars and training to boost technical knowledge in the transportation sector.
