April 29, 2008 -- The SPX Corp. of Newington, Conn., has been awarded a $3.7 million contract by the U.S. Army to supply helicopter rotor blades, drive mechanisms and components. The contract was awarded by the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command in Redstone Arsenal, Ala.
