May 8, 2008 -- Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., South Korea's largest maker of power equipment, said Thursday that it has won a deal valued at $240 million to supply power plant-related equipment to a U.S. firm. The deal with Westinghouse Electric Co. calls on Doosan Heavy to deliver the equipment by March 2014, the company said in a regulatory filing. It is Doosan's first contract to supply equipment for a nuclear power plant in the U.S., the company said.
