 Rolls-Royce has set up a new business unit as a single focus for its global civil nuclear activity. The work that it currently undertakes for the UK Royal Navy's submarine programme will not be affected.

Sandvik insists demand has stayed strong despite climate; ENGINEERING
Birmingham Post, September 5, 2008 Friday

  Swedish tool and speciality steel maker Sandvik, which has a West Midlands base, has said demand is robust, despite economic indicators painting a bleaker picture of global growth.   "Market demand remains strong. There is no change," Sandvik chief financial officer Per Nordberg said at a company presentation yesterday.
