Mantua, NJ - May 2007 – The Industrial Supply Association (ISA) awarded Hangsterfer’s Laboratories and their distributor Major Tool Company of Knoxville, Tennessee, the prestigious American Eagle Value-Added Partner Award during the Industrial Supply Conference & Trade Fair in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 21, 2007.  The award recognizes the efforts of a manufacturer and distributor working together to add value to their end-user.

Hangsterfer’s Laboratories, Inc. and Major Tool Company were recognized for their program at Denso Manufacturing in Athens, Tennessee, documenting a substantial cost savings in the use of straight oils, increased productivity and outstanding environmental accomplishments. Denso Manufacturing was able to improve tool life and dramatically reduce hazardous waste by replacing a cleaning solvent and cutting oil with more environmentally friendly products. The cleaner replaced a hazardous chemical that generated over 14, 000 lbs. of hazardous waste per year and also improved the work environment for their employees.
