The new data sheet provides information and specifications for the ME1000 and ME2000 metal plate or tag marking machines. The ME 1000/2000 can be either a manual or automatic depending on the desire for loading and unloading of the tag or plate. It provides very reliable embossing or indenting for logos, Windows® fonts and special 200dpi characters such as country-specific characters and symbols. The unit provides the latest generation of electronics with Flash memory technology that is accessible via external RS232 service port. The machine is suitable for stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, copper and brass tags with marking speed of 50 dots per second. The machine also has a 2-line by 40-character LCD display for diagnostic visualization, as well as a lithium back-up battery system. The machine can be either manual (ME 1000) or automatic load (ME 2000) with up to 250 plates utilizing a unique variable plate size loading system with optional FIFO logic elevator stacker or side eject. Fonts and off-line data input is via and external keyboard.
