August 1, 2007 - Warrendale, Pennsylvania  –  Chick Workholding Solutions, Inc. announced today that Douglas Sain has been promoted to Sales Manager for the United States and Canada.  Sain has been an employee of Chick since 2003 and previous to the promotion was the Business Developer for the South Eastern Region of the United States since 2005.

In the role of Business Developer, Sain increased Chick revenue in the Southeast by more than 200% in his first year.  In his new position Sain’s biggest responsibility is maintaining a hands on relationship with the industry, as well as Chick’s outside sales representatives, supporting their sales efforts.

“I have enjoyed working with end users and distributors to deliver efficiency through workholding in the Southeast,” said Sain.  “I am excited to develop new relationships around the U.S. and Canada in my new role.”

Chick also announced that Dan Kennedy will replace Sain as Business Developer for the Southeast United States (VA, GA, NC, SC, TN, AL, MS).  Kennedy began with Chick as a Customer Care Representative.  Before Chick, Kennedy acquired over seven years of sales and management experience. Kennedy is based in the Chick headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pa. and will regularly travel in the Southeastern territory.

Kennedy stated his main priority for the Southeast is to “establish, develop and maintain relationships with current and new customers while working to grow Chick’s relationships with the distribution channel.”
