Telesis Technologies, a worldwide leader in product identification systems, announces the latest advance in their Xpress® line of end-pumped, solid state laser systems. The Telesis Xpress 10EV Vanadate Laser System provides a beam of unmatched quality featuring a short pulse width, high peak power, narrow spot size and good depth of focus.
The major benefit of the Telesis 10EV Laser System is greater flexibility, compared to conventional fiber lasers, when dealing with the high-speed, precise marking or machining of high-resolution patterns or curved surfaces. The beam characteristics of the Telesis 10 EV Laser System also provide excellent capabilities for marking heat-sensitive or highly reflective materials such as silicon, metal foils, and plastics. Applications that previously required a more expensive green laser can often be performed with this vanadate laser system.
Entirely air cooled, the Telesis 10EV Laser System eliminates the need for external cooling. Also, the pumping diode is located in the controller and coupled by fiber to the resonator and scanning head, creating a robust and compact design that is easy to integrate into a production environment. Since Telesis makes its own resonators, the manufacturing process is extremely cost-effective and efficient. Combined with an innovative cold-plate design integrated into the resonator, this system helps ensure an essentially maintenance free operation with an average life of 20,000 hours on the pump diodes.
The Telesis 10EV Laser System comes with powerful, easy-to-use Telesis Merlin II LS software for four-axis control, ease of operator interface and complete functionality for pattern generation. Customizable options are also available with this software package. As with all Telesis systems, the 10EV is backed by a one year warranty and the Telesis sales and service network that is strategically positioned around the globe.
Telesis Technologies, Inc. is a world leader in product identification and material processing technologies. Their wide range of standard and customized permanent, programmable laser and PinStamp® pin marking systems are known for their speed and durability. Telesis has been devoted to solving the need for permanent marking since its founding in 1971.
