Columbia Marking Tools adds new manufacturer’s representative company in the southwest
January 2008 – Columbia Marking Tools, Inc. continues to expand their sales and service coverage to users of marking tools, stamps and the complete range of marking machines by adding Marketing Manufacturing Technology, LLC to their North American network of distributors and manufacturer’s representatives.
Tom Phipps, Columbia Marking Tools CEO, says, “In the last five years, Columbia Marking Tools has undertaken a very aggressive product development strategy, and to support that effort and make it successful in increasing our market share, we have added a good number of high quality manufacturer’s representative organizations whose product lines and markets are complementary to ours. Recently we completed a new sales agreement with Marketing Manufacturing Technology, LLC, a well-respected and aggressive sales company located in Houston, Texas, to provide and service our marking products in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.”
Marketing Manufacturing Technology, LLC was founded by Enrico and Rich Giannetti in 2002, providing cutting tools, toolholders and tooling products to the same types of industrial and manufacturing markets served by Columbia Marking Tools. Phipps adds, “Both Enrico and Rich have very extensive hands-on manufacturing experience so we are confident they will be able to provide the knowledgeable and technical support required for our types of marking tools and machine products.”
Enrico and Rich Giannetti stated that they are, “…extremely pleased to have Columbia Marking Tools as a principle. Columbia’s high-quality marking products are complementary to the tooling products that we currently sell in the oil field and energy markets. Many of our customers are component and parts manufacturers, all of which require some level of marking.”
