Our members represent U.S.-based manufacturers of nonportable, power-driven manufacturing machinery or related equipment, products or software used to transform man-made materials into discrete durable goods.
Complete the application:
AMT Membership Application — Firms that manufacture or produce nonportable power-driven manufacturing machinery and/or related equipment, products, or software used to transform man-made materials into discrete durable goods (for example: machine tools, automated systems, laser systems, measurement systems, assembly or robotic systems, parts and components, controls, accessories, attachments, tools and tooling, software and engineering and systems design services).
Be sure to include the following with your application:
Processing Fee – All applicants must submit a non-refundable, processing fee of $100 with their application.
Certification of eligibility - Firms must demonstrate to AMT’s satisfaction that any foreign cost associated with the qualifying product line does not exceed 35% of the U.S. revenue of that product line. One of two methods must be used to do this. A company must either provide a Certificate of Origin for Free Trade Agreements with Chile or Singapore or a statement signed by the applicant’s chief executive officer or president stating that the company meets this requirement.
Product literature - please include product literature for all qualifying product lines.
What Are the Dues?
Dues Are Based on Annual Shipments — Your annual dues are based on the total of your company’s annual shipments. You’ll be invoiced for dues after you’ve been accepted into AMT.

Membership Year — The membership year starts each January. Dues for your first year of membership will be based on the month you’re accepted as a member.
