Standards and Regulations Committee

The committee promotes the use of standards in the industry, and encourages AMT member firms to participate in the engineering standards development process.

The committee also works to improve member understanding of and compliance with federal regulatory standards such as OSHA and EPA.

Committee participation provides direct contact with safety, health and environmental professionals from other AMT member companies.

It also provides exposure to national and international standards making activities. Committee members gain valuable knowledge about B11 machine tool safety standards and the standards process as well as product liability loss prevention programs and international safety standards requirements.
