2012 – Global Forecasting & Marketing Conference

You may be focusing your attention on preparing for IMTS right now, but don’t forget about another important industry event — the Global Forecasting & Marketing Conference. Take a few minutes and register for the GFMC so you can cross one more thing off your to-do list. Our economists are providing AMT members quarterly updates of their forecasts on the general economy, as well as the manufacturing technology industry and other factors that impact manufacturing technology. But in order to benefit from the information contained in these forecasts, you must be a part of AMT’s Forecasting Package, which begins each year with registration for the GFMC.

We have some exciting newcomers to our conference that you won’t want to miss! And with the presidential election shortly after the conference, we will all be anxious to hear Larry Sabato, the Director of UVA’s Center for Politics, predict who will be our future leader.

Do you do business with the aerospace, automotive, medical, power generation, or job shop industries? What is the future of additive manufacturing? What are the material changes in the energy industry? These and other topics will be presented at the GFMC.

The GFMC is a great opportunity for you to gather information on all of the industries that impact your business in one event. It is by far the best networking event for our members other than IMTS!

This year’s conference will be held October 24-25, at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch in St. Louis, Mo. The early-bird price of $750 for members ($1,100 for non-members) ends August 31, so register now before prices increase!

If you have any questions about the conference, contact Pam Patten at 703-827-5226 or ppatten@AMTonline.org.
