As long as you can receive a cellular signal, these devices can provide you with a WiFi connection capable of connecting multiple devices at once. They come in handy at conferences and trade shows when you need a quick connection for a couple of machines and smart phones without affecting any performance for your primary display. (more) |

06 February 2013President and 113th Congress take on the debtNow that President Obama and the 113th Congress have been sworn in, it’s time for Washington to seriously get down to business. Congress immediately got to work following the Inauguration and passed legislation that would suspend the debt limit ceiling until mid-May. The bill would also force lawmakers to pass a budget by April 15 or see their pay frozen. When the bill becomes law, it will force the Senate leadership to propose a budget for the first time in years. (more) |

06 February 2013A plan for advancing U.S. manufacturing: a preliminary review of NNMIIn 2012 President Obama’s Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (AMP) Steering Committee compiled a report detailing the need for Manufacturing Innovation Institutes as a means to bridge the gap between basic research (university, national labs) and production enterprises.
