The IMTS Rally Fighter – the first-ever IMTS car was on display at stops along the route of the GUMBALL 3000, a rally that made stops throughout the United States as well as in Niagara Falls and Toronto, Canada.
It started on Thursday, May 24, at Times Square in New York City. The IMTS Rally Fighter was displayed until noon on Friday, when it was loaded on a trailer and began its trek, which ended on May 31 in Los Angeles.
From NYC, it made stops in Niagara Falls, Toronto, Detroit, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Kansas City, Santa Fe, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and finally its endpoint in L.A.
A second IMTS Rally Fighter will be built live in the Emerging Technology Center at IMTS 2012. Watch for a second skin design competition coming soon!
