The IMTS Exhibitor Workshop recently made its way through six cities, stopping in at Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, Providence, and Charlotte. The workshop is designed to help exhibitors prepare for the show by giving them marketing tips, updates on show logistics, and an opportunity to network with each other.

S.E. Huffman founder Stan Huffman dies

Stan E. Huffman Jr., founder of longtime AMT member S.E. Huffman Corp. (now operating as Huffman Technologies LLC), passed away in Naples, Fla., on Nov. 16, 2011. He was 88.

Jergens HQ hosts AMT staff

On October 17, a number of AMT staff from both the Virginia and China offices visited Jergens’ headquarters and plant in Cleveland, Ohio. Jergens, founded in 1942, has been an IMTS exhibitor for many years and an active member of AMT since 2004. Their product lines are workholding and quick change fixturing, swiveling hoist rings, and specialty fasteners.

Mark Kennedy joins AMT staff as membership director
