Members not only saw two lines assembling seven mid-size models – they also were briefed by a Toyota official on the steps required to become a supplier.

Tier One Automotive Supplier Aisin Seiki Tells AMT Members How Best to Approach Transplants
June 26, 2008, AICHI, JAPAN – AMT members spent Thursday afternoon watching one of Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd.’s brake manufacturing operations and talking to the Tier One supplier’s company officials about ways they can do business together in North America. The visit included a tour of a product display area showing products under development, such as a Toyota hydrogen fuel cell system.
