U.S. Foreign Trade Full Report of the Manufacturing Technology Industry
U.S. machine tool exports valued $212.5 million in October, down 1.8% from Septembers' total of $216.5 million. Exports for YTD 2008 totaled $2,065.6 million, an increase of 16.8% when compared to the same period of 2007. Monthly machine tool imports valued $395 million in October, up 1.6% from Septembers' total of $388.9 million. Imports for YTD 2008 totaled $4,309.1 million, an increase of 14.9% when compared to the same period for 2007.
