The economy continues to sputter according to government reports out this week. The Commerce Department revised its second quarter growth rate down to 1.6%, while the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that, from 2007-2009, manufacturing accounted for the largest number of displaced workers. The BLS report also states those workers were the least likely to be re-employed at the time the survey was taken in January 2010. Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke spoke to calm economic jitters saying the Fed is determined to keep the economy growing even as he warned of slow growth for the remainder of the year.  More on Trade Enforcement, Innovation and Small Business legislation...
