Dealing with OSHA
AMT has copies of several sample programs that can help your company avoid potential citations and the resulting penalties. AMT can provide examples of typical, written safety programs required by OSHA, that, when implemented, can minimize your potential of citations and resulting penalties.

OSHA / ANSI B11 Relationship
The Occupational Safety & Health Act of 1970 gives the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) the authority and legal power to enter work places and inspect for violations of the OSHA Standards.

WEEE/RoHS - China and EU Comparison

Companies selling a broad range of electrical goods in China will need to conform to WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive) and RoHS (Restriction of Use in certain Hazardous Substances Directive).  China's restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment directive was implemented in March of 2007.  It is very similar to EU RoHS but has different qualifications for labeling, concentration, and other requirements.
