U.S. Foreign Trade of the Manufacturing Technology Industry (Full Report)
U.S. machine tool exports valued $178.2 million in February, up 6.2% from January’s total of $167.9 million. Exports for YTD 2008 totaled $346.1 million, an increase of 4.1% when compared to the same period of 2007. Monthly machine tool imports valued $385.8 million in February, down 5.2% from January’s total of $406.8 million. Imports for YTD 2008 totaled $792.6 million, an increase of 7.7% when compared to the same period for 2007.
