The importance of maintaining a strong industrial base has been a key topic of discussion in both industry and government.  AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology recognizes the need for our members to develop and deliver products that outpace global competitive offerings.

In response to this need, in 2003, AMT created a new gratis association category known as the AMT Affiliate - defined as an organization that has a program structured to aid the advancement of the manufacturing technology industry.  AMT Affiliates will work in cooperation with AMT members to strengthen the U.S. manufacturing technology base.
