A Human Charging Station: AMT Member Lounge at IMTS 2024

For members only: Rest and regroup in this private space at IMTS 2024. Open daily from Sept. 9-14.
Jul 30, 2024

We have to keep our phones, laptops, and tablets running at all times. We carry portable batteries and cords. We’ll even sit on the floor to be near an outlet. But do you know what else needs to be charged? You!

IMTS 2024 is proud to host the AMT Member Lounge, the human charging station exclusively for AMT Members. Open daily from Sept. 9-14, the AMT Member Lounge (Room S-103) will provide a private space for members to rest and regroup away from the show floor.

Rest  Whether your dogs are barking from walking, or your ears are ringing from the din of the show floor, the AMT Member Lounge provides a calm oasis in the midst of a sea of activity. Outfitted with plenty of comfortable seating, the lounge provides a serene environment to enjoy a cup of coffee (or a beer in the afternoons). Beverages and light snacks will be available throughout the day. The lounge is ideal for calling home, checking email, or just taking a moment.

New this year, the lounge will be in a more accessible location near the hotel shuttle bus stop. This is also where taxis and Ubers drop show attendees. Members can stop in at the beginning or end of the day for a bit of relaxation.

The lounge also has charging stations, so you can charge your devices while recharging yourself.

Regroup  Members can connect with staff or prospective customers in one of the AMT Member Lounge’s six private meeting rooms. These rooms are the ideal place to get updates from your team or close deals with clients, away from the distractions of the booth. Members will be able to reserve these rooms in advance to ensure availability.

The Member Lounge will also provide networking opportunities. Organic networking opportunities will occur daily, with fellow members and AMT staff stopping by the lounge. There will also be two special Power Hour networking events on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. These afternoon receptions are designed to give members who are committed to their booths during working hours the opportunity to meet or reconnect with other members. AMT staff will also be available to answer questions and discuss additional AMT resources.

Stop by the AMT Member Lounge (Room S-103) during IMTS for a quick refresh or a longer recharge. We’ll see you at the charging station.
