MFG Meeting 2025: Crafted for Executives, Optimized for Engagement

Jan 06, 2025

You can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep — and you will find no better company than at the MFG 2025 Meeting, a unique event curated for manufacturing executives and future leaders who want to exchange insights with their peers and drive company growth.

Created by AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology in collaboration with NTMA, MFG Meeting 2025 will be held from February 19-21 at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio.

“The MFG Meeting attracts a who’s who of manufacturing leaders, company directors, and industry experts,” says Douglas K. Woods, president at AMT. “If you want to strengthen relationships, make new connections, and engage in senior-level strategy discussions, the MFG Meeting should be on your calendar.”

Unlike the hectic pace of a trade show or educational conference, the MFG Meeting is structured to optimize peer-to-peer engagement, networking, and learning in a relaxed, social environment. AMT leadership and staff members will be on site to facilitate introductions and provide support.

The just-expanded agenda will be sure to generate conversation, as it now includes Deepesh Chouhan, NVIDIA’s North America segment leader for semiconductor, robotics, transportation, manufacturing, and aerospace industries. Chouhan, who views AMT members and NVIDIA as ecosystem partners, will share examples of solvable challenges with AI and encourage audience questions. In addition, returning MFG Meeting favorites Caitlin Sickles and Omar S. Nashashibi will provide their insights and analysis of what to expect from a second Trump administration and a Republican-controlled Congress (tariffs, extending the 2017 tax cuts, DOGE, regulatory reform – discuss!).

A Unique Experience  “During the three days of the MFG Meeting, our agenda features world-class presenters (see previous story), and ample time for socializing and free time, including activities for spouses and personnel guests,” says Woods.

The first night of the event, Wednesday, will feature a casual welcome reception with a Mardi Gras theme. The MFG reception and dinner on Thursday is business casual, while the AMT Chairman’s dinner and reception on Friday is a formal event and features after-dinner music and dancing.

Activities include a shuttle to the San Antonio Riverwalk, the MFG Golf Outing, the Miles for Manufacturing 5K Run/Walk, yoga, and the warm southern charm of the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa.

Located 20 minutes from San Antonio International Airport and Riverwalk, the resort is set on 300 acres of a historic family ranch and offers a unique blend of comfort and elegance. Guests can escape to a quiet retreat from everyday life — float down a lazy river, pull up a rocking chair on the porch, golf 27-holes, or enjoy other family activities.

"As a long-time attendee of the MFG Meeting, I can confidently say that the golf outing is one of the highlights of the event,” says Eric Hagopian, president and CEO of Pilot Precision Products. “It provides a unique opportunity to connect with fellow industry leaders — owners, CEOs, and executives — in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. The informal conversations on the course often lead to deeper connections and valuable insights that are hard to achieve in more formal environments. By taking advantage of every networking and learning opportunity the MFG Meeting and AMT offer, I’ve been able to maximize the value of my association membership. The golf outing is not just a game: it’s an extension of the professional relationships that drive our industry forward.”

“MFG 2025 Meeting builds community,” says Woods. “Everyone at the meeting wants to move manufacturing forward. We all have to face common issues — the Washington policy agenda update, the economic outlook, AI, and supply chains — and being able to discuss these issues with people they trust is an invaluable experience.”

Register for the MFG 2025 Meeting. Note that there are discounts for additional registrants from the same company while personal guests and companions receive special pricing and can be added later.
