McLean, Va. (February 5, 2026) — IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show has announced that visitor hotel reservations for IMTS 2026 are now open. IMTS runs Sept. 14-19 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

“Given the demand on hotels created by the size of IMTS, booking housing early is essential to ensure rooms at preferred hotels or desired locations within Chicago,” says Lexy Olisko, senior director, meetings and housing at AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology, which owns and produces IMTS.

Global Housing Solutions, powered by AMT, is the only official housing provider for IMTS. It has contracted with 95 Chicago-area hotels to offer benefits for visitor housing that include guaranteed rooms, the lowest rate available during show dates, no booking fees, more accurate booking, and a free shuttle between hotels and McCormick Place (with the exception of the five McCormick Place hotels, SpringHill Suites Chinatown, and Sable at Navy Pier).

New hotels in the block for 2026 include the Arlo Chicago, the Le Meridien Essex Chicago (a high-end Marriott hotel), and the Claridge House (which is now a Hilton Tapestry brand property). The former Hotel Monaco has been converted to L7 Chicago by Lotte, a luxury hotel and the first L7 hotel in North America; it features updated guest rooms, lobby, and restaurant spaces.

“Global Housing Solutions provides visitors with a single source for booking their stay, the confidence of using a trusted source, and the assurance that we prevent the delays and miscommunication that can occur when booking through hotels or other parties,” says Olisko.

Visit the IMTS hotel reservations website to book a hotel room, view rates, and see a map of hotels.
