Every fall AMT brings together economic forecasters, sales and marketing experts and industry leaders for two days to share their wisdom and provide an in-depth look at the future of the manufacturing technology industry. It’s the data, outlook and inspiration that manufacturers need to make the right business decisions.
Your peers will converge at the 2016 Global Forecasting & Marketing Conference, October 19 – 21, at the Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida, to discover emerging developments and insightful business forecasts.
The presenter lineup includes three of the country’s most informed economists, which together have more than 100 years of economic forecasting experience.
- Gregory Daco, chief U.S. economist at Oxford Economics, produces the U.S. macroeconomic forecast. He will review the forces that have shaped the market’s landscape today, track the high-frequency indicators, and forecast the global economic and manufacturing technology growth.
- Alan Beaulieu, president of the Institute for Trend Research Economics, will review the economic realities that we are facing as we head into 2017. He will provide outlooks for consumer spending, how the election will impact the forecast, interest rates and other megatrends.
- Eli S. Lustgarten is president of ESL Consultants and a senior vice president at Longbow Securities. Eli returns to GFMC to focus specifically on the construction and mining equipment industry with the addition of a machine tool forecast. Construction and mining is a specific interest because of the prolonged downturn in this area, which represents 9 to 15 percent of manufacturing technology orders.
In addition, GFMC also provides ample networking opportunities for attendees. The event draws professionals from a diverse array of production machinery, contract machining, assembly, finance, capital equipment distribution and brokerage-type companies.
Attendees will leave the conference equipped with the knowledge and tools they need to “turn insight into action” – this year’s conference theme – and develop strategic plans to thrive in a dynamic, competitive marketplace.
