Join the conversation at the [MC]2 Conference 2016
Registration is now open for the fifth annual [MC]2 Conference on April 19-21, 2016, at the InterContinental Dallas Hotel, in Dallas, Texas. The conference is the biggest gathering of the year for learning about MTConnect, but more importantly it brings together the minds and companies that are shaping the controls, software and networks that will define the future of manufacturing.

MTConnect Student Challenge accepting submissions
The two-phase MTConnect Student Challenge is accepting submissions now. The Ideas Creation competition is open until March 15, 2016, and the Application Development competition is open though July 15, 2016.
For the Idea phase, the challenge posed to U.S.-based college students is to brainstorm and develop innovative and adaptable manufacturing intelligence, drawing from data acquired using the MTConnect standard. Cash prizes total more than $10,000. The Applications competition carries a larger purse, with more than $20,000 in prizes. Finalists will be invited to Chicago to attend IMTS, one of the largest manufacturing trade shows in the world, in September. More details and submission rules are available on Challenge.gov.
The MTConnect Student Challenge is sponsored by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Defense-wide Manufacturing Science and Technology (DMS&T).
