Automatic Feed Company has announced a series of promotions and appointments effective Oct. 4, 2016.

Peter Beck, Chief Executive Officer – As chief executive officer, along with the president and vice president, he is responsible for guiding and supporting the company’s short- and long-term goals.

Nathan Weaks, President – Weaks joined Automatic Feed 31 years ago and was appointed treasurer in 1987 and a director of the company in 2003. He was on the AMT Financial Issues Committee.

Krista Gerken, Chief Financial Officer – Gerken joined Automatic Feed 19 years ago. She was hired as a staff accountant and was appointed controller in 2007.

Jeffry Stover, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer – Stover joined Automatic Feed in 2009 as director of sales, after working with Automatic Feed’s affiliate High Precision Technology since 2001.

Mahr Federal Inc. has announced plans to expand its direct sales coverage for metrology systems products in the Southeast. Effective immediately, Mahr metrology systems products will be sold directly by the Mahr Federal Inc. sales team in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Mahr Federal will be announcing the opening date and location of their new Southeast region demonstration center in the near future.

Global Shop Solutions
has named Nick Knight as the firm’s new Senior Director of Customer Services. A Global Shop Solutions employee for more than a decade, Knight served as a member of the service team, consulting project manager and most recently as director of consulting. In these positions, he helped drive record growth in successful ERP implementations and consulting services revenue while leading the company’s global expansion into China, Asia-Pacific, Mexico, Australia and Canada.

Methods 3D, Inc., a newly formed subsidiary of Methods Machine Tools, Inc., continues to broaden its presence in 3D printing through the completion of seven additive manufacturing laboratories strategically located across the United States. The labs are in each of Methods Machine Tools’ technology centers including Sudbury, Mass. (Boston), headquarters, Detroit, Charlotte, Chicago, Phoenix, San Francisco and Los Angeles. James Hanson, formerly Director of Corporate Development of Methods Machine Tools, Inc., has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Methods 3D. Methods 3D advanced new additive manufacturing labs are outfitted with printers and a full complement of post-processing equipment. Each location is fully staffed by a dedicated team of sales, application engineers and service technicians. 

KOMET welcomes three new sales engineers to the team. Travis Tillotsen will cover the Washington, Idaho and Montana territories. Mark Davis, one of the newest members of the KOMET sale engineer team, will cover southern Ohio. Chris Ricciardi will cover the state of Michigan.
