Edgewater Automation has announced the opening of their first location in California. The new location is a sales office with a team to bring the company closer to customers located on the West Coast. This office adds to the growing presence Edgewater Automation already has with four locations in Michigan and South Carolina.
Hurco held its annual IndyCar Fast Friday VIP event in May. Customers toured Hurco’s international headquarters in the morning and proceeded to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway where they were treated to a VIP experience from Hurco’s IndyCar partner Ed Carpenter Racing.
In addition, Hurco and John Force Racing Inc. announced an initial five-year agreement that will continue to enhance the development and production capabilities of JFR and its Force American Made machining company. FAM will be adding Hurco’s latest product technology with six state-of-the-art CNC machining and turning centers, plus all support equipment to the machine shop area.
LMC Workholding is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2016, having provided quality products, services and solutions to the workholding industry for a century. Starting out as the Logansport Machine Company in 1916, LMC built a reputation for engineering and manufacturing of power chucks, cylinders and special workholding products.
LMC offers international workholding and machine tool accessory solutions with global partnerships in Taiwan, Germany, Italy and Sweden, as well as four offices and service centers in China.
LMC has also completed $4 million in expansions over the last three years. In 2013, the company completed a large expansion at its Logansport, Ind., facility with all green lighting, office renovations and other plant improvements.
