In his new post for the company, Mr. Bennett will be spearheading sales and marketing endeavors for North America and involved with the operational aspects associated with how the company brings new Workholding products and services to the market, responding to customer needs and enhancing the customer experience.
Prior to his promotion, Mr. Bennett most recently served as National Sales and Marketing Manager for the company. Mr. Bennett has been an employee of Kitagawa NorthTech for over seven years and began his employment with the company as a regional sales manager.

Kevin Bennett, CPM, Brings a Wealth of Manufacturing Experience Spanning Four Decades with an Emphasis in Metalworking, Machine Tool and Workholding Products
Prior to joining Kitagawa NorthTech, Mr. Bennett had served as North East/Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager for SMW AutoBlok where he re-established their dealer and distributor network enhancing sale of engineered productivity based Workholding solutions and value added services. Mr. Bennett’s experience with industrial supply chain and distribution channel management came from Turtle and Hughes Industrial Supply where he was responsible for securing Vendor Managed Inventories at larger manufacturing companies throughout New England. Previously, he held the position of Senior Sales for Southwestern Industries, Inc. where he provided branding in-roads resulting in many hundreds of turn-key productivity-based CNC Machine Tool and Control solutions along with installation, set-up, CNC programming and operator training for their customers employees numbering in the thousands.
Mr. Bennett previously worked in specialized tool room services responsible for building remote robotics aimed at nuclear field services applications with Westinghouse (F.K.A. Combustion Engineering). Mr. Bennett’s career began at Hamilton Sundstrand Division of UTAS (F.K.A. Hamilton Standard a Division of United Technologies Corporation) where he became a Journeyman Tool Maker, promoted to performing CNC tool prove-out’s utilizing multi-axis milling and turning machines and was later promoted to production planning and control.
Mr. Bennett holds a Degree in Computer Science. is a CPM and holds many other special certifications. He is an active member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT) and Association for Machine Tool Distributors (AMTDA). Mr. Bennett operates out of the North American corporate, manufacturing and repair and services headquarters for Kitagawa NorthTech located in Schaumburg, Illinois.
