This event will highlight a number of innovative technologies and how these technologies are utilized within the greater manufacturing community. The key word this year for the Forum is “innovation,” and the keynote presentation will be delivered by Dr. Don Kinard explaining the innovative technologies and how the Joint Strike Fighter is manufactured.

Additionally there are two afternoon back-to-back panel sessions with the first panel touching on a number of diverse technology areas including: spray cooling of electronics, additive materials manufacturing, the future of munitions manufacturing and how machined parts are measured by holograms. The afternoon panel is a joint effort between the Technology Issues Committee and the AMT Cutting Tool Product Group’s Technology sub-committee and will focus on Tooling with an emphasis on minimum quantity lubrication, coatings and coolants.
