The National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM), a not-for-profit organization, identifies and implements manufacturing and machining methods that reduce cost, improve lead time and enhance product quality for all branches of the U.S. military and its industrial supply base.
This is achieved through collaboration with NCDMM Alliance Partners who are U.S. based and owned, government, industrial and academic organizations that develop advanced manufacturing technology. The NCDMM then transfers these advanced solutions to the DoD, the DoD industrial supply chain and U.S. manufacturers through training, seminars and technical publications.
The NCDMM also provides manufacturing and machining technology support for small shops that enable these organizations to successfully participate in the DoD procurement process.
