USMTO Detail Summary Report

The U.S. Manufacturing Technology Orders (USMTO) summary includes metal cutting and forming machine orders by region in a continually revised 13-month table format perfect for tracking the aggregate trends in the machine tool market. This summary also includes a textual and graphical summary of the data featuring comments made by the executives at AMT. The information is collected from machine tool builders and distributors and is reported in terms of units and U.S. dollars. March U.S. manufacturing technology orders totaled $507.91 million according to AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology. This total, as reported by companies participating in the USMTO program, was up 30.4% from February and up 3.2% when compared with the total of $491.96 million reported for March 2012. With a year-to-date total of $1,278.05 million, 2013 is down 5.0% compared with 2012. (more)

February U.S. manufacturing technology orders totaled $385.89 million according to AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology. This total, as reported by companies participating in the USMTO program, was up 5.7% from January but down 10.6% when compared with the total of $431.63 million reported for February 2012.
